Most high achievers live from the neck up — completely detached from their bodies because childhood was too painful to feel. According to trauma recovery coach Kenny Weiss, every thought and action starts with an emotion, but high achievers think they're thinking their way out of problems without realizing an emotion is driving every thought. The 60-Second Check-In rebuilds the relationship with your emotional world by asking two questions: "What am I feeling right now?" and "Is there anything I actually need?"

The Micro-No is an act of emotional authenticity and nervous system retraining. Kenny Weiss teaches clients to start by saying no to things they actually WANT — zero-cost situations — just to build tolerance. "That doesn't work for me right now" becomes the first brick removed from the wall of self-abandonment. Every micro-no sends your nervous system the message: you're allowed to have limits and still be worthy.

The Void Visit is the practice of sitting still — without phone, TV, or distraction — for as little as 5 seconds. According to Kenny Weiss, most high achievers can't last 15 seconds before crawling out of their skin. That discomfort IS the void — the shame and pain surfacing the moment you stop performing. Visiting it instead of outrunning it is how you show the most abandoned part of yourself that it won't be left behind anymore.
